Job Summary:

Infinite Management Solutions (IMS), is looking for an experienced Proposal Writer to develop and manage responses to Sources Sought (SS), Requests for information (RFIs), and Requests for Proposals (RFPs). The Proposal Writer will write, edit, and submit proposals as part of a “rapid response” team and demonstrate a track record of executing successful proposals.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a "rapid response" system that will quickly, proactively, and independently respond to SS, RFIs, and RFPs that are not currently on the pipeline
  • Lead proposal writing, editing, and reviewing to ensure responses are compliant with government parameters, highlight IMS capabilities and win themes, and encompass "one voice" for coherent, thoughtful responses
  • Identify and develop content and serve as a technical writer/lead for response
  • Interview subject matter experts (SMEs) as needed
  • Research opportunities and agencies to strengthen proposal responses by including appropriate agency
  • Identify IMS team members, as appropriate, to contribute to proposal efforts as technical writers, editors, reviewers, etc.
  • Manage task order responses to existing IMS BPA/IDIQ contract vehicles
  • Coordinate with IMS and/or business partner units on matters such as pricing, contracts, recruiting and additional items needed (i.e., graphics, presentation support, etc.)
  • Ensure any pricing volumes, supplementals, and/or appendixes are complete and compliant
  • Submit completed RFI and proposal responses to the appropriate government officials, in the compliant format, via the preferred delivery method (email, hard copy, drive, etc.)
  • Archive final proposal documents and materials in the company database
  • Coordinate with and provide updates to business develop team and leadership as needed

Required Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven experience in capture management and proposal development
  • Outstanding time management skills and proven success meeting deadlines and performing in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge of government and DOD contract processes (RFI, RFP, SBIR, GSA, FAR, etc.)
  • Experienced in supporting business development efforts and demonstrating strong motivation and ability to maintain a positive and productive work environment
  • Strong familiarity with Shipley processes (Shipley training/certification highly preferred)
  • Trained and/or credentialed as CCPP, CPM, CGPM, or similar industry recognized accreditation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management software (PandaDoc, GovWin, SalesEdge, Expedience, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred) from an accredited college/university in English, Communication, Journalism or related concentration
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in proposal writing, 5 years relevant experience preferred
  • Meets U.S. citizenship and work eligibility requirements for federal contractors
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DOD) Secret level clearance, if required
